Trevon Branch Teaches STEM and Leadership through real-life scenarios that promote problem-solving through hands-on tasks. Students lead small groups of peers through individual tasks that help produce leaders with people skills. Each member of a group is responsible for designing important missions within the structure they have created. They need to explain their city-like structure and explain their mission to the rest of the class. Their entire team works together so no one feels alone. They create their robotic world together and present their tasks and missions to the other players and pupils when they feel comfortable. Students who want to pursue leadership studies can learn about Trevon Branch Leadership Games in Maryland and across the west coast. Find Trevon Branch engineering and coding classes in California and Wyoming and Nebraska States. WHAT HAPPENS AT CAMP

Campers will engineer and program several innovative TETRIX & EV3  robots.

Campers learn EV3 programming.

Campers  compete in fun competitions   (Bluetooth/game controlled robots)

Campers can learn RobotC programming  (For older students)

Campers can test their programming skill in virtual world environments.

Campers test their new programming skills with real robots.

SOME AFTERNOON GAMES

SUMO:

This game is based on the Japanese skill of “Sumo Wrestling”. Adapted to robotics, the campers design robots that can knock opponents out of a ring. Each camper engineers their robot so that it has the perfect degree of power, leverage, and agility. The kids have planned robots that obey definite weight a size regulations. The participants have a number of bouts and make several revisions to improve the efficacy of their designs. The goodwill and teamwork is inspirational.

How it Works:

Robots oppose one another and wait for the signal for initiation. The robots battle for location and attempt to drive their adversaries outside the labeled boundaries. The young contenders naturally develop a working knowledge of important principals of mechanics. Weight, force, angular and linear and momentum are just a few concepts the campers begin to internalize.

ROBOT SOCCER:

The campers also produce robots that specialize in playing soccer. These “SoccerBots” use a specially designed table to score goals using a miniature ball. Teams control their bots via joy sticks that work using a bluetooth connection.

How it Works:

The campers use additional motors to create some type of shooting device. They can capture and shoot with specialized attachments that they construct. Large tables allow for teams of two players each. They work the ball down the playing surface and try to score before time runs out.

TREVON MOEHRIG SPONSORED FOOTBALL COMPETITIONS WITH TREVON BRANCH
Trevon Branch Potomac STEM Camps were a big hit among all the students who wanted to learn how to operate robots using joysticks. The campers played several games that involved sumo robotics competitions. The leadership team had created leaders who specialized in these exciting sumo battles. Each team would take a quadrant and try to knock the other team out of the specialized area. The teams would build their robots with some exciting mechanisms that could flip or overturn their opponent's creation. The camp also had autonomous events which required that teams fulfilled special missions prescribed by the leadership committees.

Cliif Branch a relative of Trevon Branch was recently inducted into the NFL Hall of fame. He had a great career with the Los Angeles Raiders. Playing in the NFL as a receiver this undersized speedster could do it all. I was a great third down possession receiver but he could beat you long and pick up plenty of yards after the catch. Congrats Cliff Branch!
